Same Chinese food since I was a kid!!! Been eating here for 37 yrs! Love the Golden Palace!

Best pork fried rice everything they make is delicous

Everything was ready when I walked in. I ordered 2 spicy dishes and neither one had any spice or heat at all. The veg was cooked very well. I may be back and will specify spice

If it was really excellent but I don't like the fact that they raise their prices for the same food you're getting the same stuff for higher price you know if their food was a little bit better I could see it but anyway your food was good service was good not a bad place to go and eat.

My husband ordered two sweet and sour soups to go and waited 20 minutes. Not a fast place for sure. Soup is yellow/orange with canned ingredients (very few) and no tofu or eggs. We're good off trying anything else..

Food is delicious. But kinda dingy inside. My daughter loves the fish tanks

Great Food and Wonderful Service

Older building, decor was 50's retro. Neat fish tanks which surround all the booths. Generous portions on my order especially the fried rice. My wife had Wor Wan Ton soup. It was crowded with wan ton dumplings and was terrific. Wait staff was attentive, and our meals were delivered to our table with minimal delay.

So yummy and so fast! I had enough food to last 3meals for $26. Really awesome food and service!

The spicy chicken and the orange chicken is the same they said. But it's not stated that. Chicken lately has been old looking dried out. Gross. Or greasy. Tonight's and some day time waitresses ignore you. I need a refill they don't ask how is everything. When I spoke up said my husband doesn't get to eat his meal like $10.00 plate. Nothing was done about it. She left. I don't blame the waitress she didn't cook it. We paid for his meal. 3 strikes your out. Won't go back.

So far so good. Service is good. And they give you a good amount of food.... Madrin Chicken with Pork Fried Rice, Crab Pop and Kung Po Beef

This place had great food for a decent price, but its a bit chaotic. The waitress brought the food after a decent wait and she left the food on the cart right in front of the table and left for two minutes. We waited while many people walked past our food sitting on a cart. During the meal the waitress never checked on us once. When getting the check we received a check covered in grease. But hey the food is good.

The food and service is always fantastic,with fair pricing! There is a reason why this restaurant has stood the test of time!

I am so disappointed with this place. I accidentally gave them $20 EXTRA dollars. I called them just about an hour later when I realized and was told the gal who was at the register would give me a call back. She says they cant do anything until the till was counted that evening. Which is fine. I call back the next day and there was no $. So either she pocketed the $ or the person doing till did. I was passed around to at least 4 people. My hubs called and was given the run around also. We will not be going back there. Which is disappointing because we habe been going there for about 13 years.

We did a group order, we called at 10:45am but they said to call back at 11am to put in an order. We called back at 11am to put in the order but they didn't understand us so we went inside and ordered in person. I got their Mongolian beef, it came with some veggies and a couple pieces of beef and a LOT of sauce, in fact, I thought they gave me a soup by mistake! I went ahead and tried to eat it anyways and it was bland. Definitely not what I was expecting, will not be coming back.

We love this place. We always get our food quickly and it is usually consistent flavor and service!

One of our favorite places to eat. Allows you to try new Chinese dishes without ruining your whole meal. Awesome!

Sylvia was amazing, she gets five stars. She was very helpful and answered all my questions on the phone. The food however was not that good. The eggroll was over cooked and the noodle mix seemed old.. The S&S chicken was god though

We love their food and have done business with them for the past 25 years.

We stopped by after seeing the awesome Christmas Light display. You do get very big portions of everything, but it was fried, flavorless stuff. My kids got the chicken and noodles and liked it, but that was all. My beef with broccoli tasted old and had more of a gravy then a good sauce. Egg Roll was huge and not sure what the wrapper was, but it wasn't an egg roll wrapper. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Food was good until my husband found a long black hair cooked in the coating of his fried crab.

The food is good and the service was exceptional for our large group

This is our go-to place here downtown and usually quite good but today the food was good but the service sucked. Never did get our extra plate for my three-year-old granddaughter until the very end and then what's the point. Of course we will be going again at a later date I'm sure but today service was not good. They do have a help wanted sign in the window so anyone needing employment there it is there

This is by far the worst chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. They have the worst service. My soup was freezing cold and anytime I needed something I had to ask for it.

Good food for manny years

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We ordered about 35 Dollars worth of food, got lo mein that was practically soup. Sorry I don't think lo mein is supposed to taste like packaged gravy with the consistency of soup. Everything was so bland and poor in taste. I will never eat here again. I'd reconsider your choices before you eat here

Everytime I have eaten there the food was excellent & great portions even have to take home left overs. I live in Boise & wished one was here but would drive to Caldwell when I am hungry for good food. Service great & friendly employees. Try it you will love it like I do. worth every penny.

I'm from Washington state where Chinese food is everywhere and my wife and I have been trying to find a good Chinese place in idaho and liked this place

This place showed 4 stars?? The food was less than mediocre. Really disappointed, everything was deep fried, but not specified as such on menu. Grease, grease and breading. No real Chinese flavor 😖 Never again!

Fantastic food! Love the fish tanks, great atmosphere.

The worst food I have ever eaten in my life. The food wasn't even placed in a bag, they placed everything on my doorway, where bugs and animals might be walking. What a gross place, save your money.

We always enjoy Golden Palace. The food is good and the service was great. So happy they opened back up.

Good food but they just raised their prices

The food is great. The prices r kind of high but normal for Chinese food in Idaho. The staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I only wish that they offered delivery.

Great service and yummy food!

I'm only giving three stars because I'm from California the Chinese food in Idaho is ok but if having to eat Chinese this is ok spot not the greatest but ok wife says wish had more vegetarian options

Love the fact that its so inexpensive. Makes it very affordable and taste good too.

This restaurant is extraordinary and broad, the meals was delightful and the rates were very inexpensive. fast, productive service and very attentive staff. Recommended.

Service was great, food came out fast, taste was excellent. Portions were big. Great bang for your buck
